For what kind of dogs is it obligatory to attend a puppy school?
Attendance at a puppy school applies to all large and massive dog breeds of Type I in the breed standards and this group includes all dog breeds and mixtures thereof that reach a shoulder height of at least 45 cm and or 16 kg in adulthood.
Mixed breed dogs with a specific breed (e.g. Border Collie mix) are treated according to the behavior of these said dog breeds and if the Border Collie is subject to mandatory training, this should also apply to the mentioned mixed breed dog.

In case both parents should not be considered as small breeds , you would have to attend obligatory courses.
