Growing Together: The New Dog Training Concept in the Canton of Zurich
As of June 1st, 2025, a new official dog training concept will come into effect in the Canton of Zurich.
It aims to foster a harmonious human-dog relationship and ensure everyday safety.
This concept is based on the requirements of the cantonal veterinary office and is mandatory for all dog owners.
A Great Start for a Strong Partnership
You have a dog by your side – loyal, curious, full of energy – and you want to do everything right from the very beginning?
Then you’ve come to the right place!
Our new dog training course in the Canton of Zurich isn’t about rigid commands like “sit–stay–heel”,
but about real communication, practical everyday skills, and most importantly, a trusting relationship between you and your dog.
Whether it’s recall, leash walking, or clear play rules – we’ll guide you step by step as your dog learns to understand you,
focus on you, and grow into a confident and reliable companion. And don’t worry: along with solid knowledge,
we offer plenty of lightness, humor, and practical tips for everyday life.
Ready to start your journey together? Grab the leash – we can’t wait to meet you and your dog!
What Can You Expect?
The practical training course consists of six 60-minute sessions,
designed to prepare both the dog and the owner for real-life situations.
Training can begin once the dog reaches six months of age
and must be completed within one year of acquiring the dog.
